And some nights just wrong
Some nights you think about never let go
Some nights you think about letting go

There were some nights you drink your ass off
And wasted on so many teenage dreams
Merely waiting to be found
And brought you out of the darkness
Some nights later you gave them the pen
To write and gave you the posterity
Forgot they could possibly put you back there

Then some nights you’re thinking about leaving
Not because you didn’t treasure them enough
But for you to be captivated
